Sir Clarrie Harders, lawyer, talks about his family background and education, joining the 2nd A.I.F., joining the Attorney-Generals' Dept. firstly in Adelaide then coming to Canberra in 1950, his involvement with community affairs and sporting acitivities and his experiences in working with the Dept under nine Attorneys-General. Particular incidents such as the Khemlani Loans Affair and the dismissal of the Whitlam Govt. are discussed.
