Summary:
The Queensland Law Collection contains historical Queensland legislation and other legal materials relating to Queensland. The collection includes: Queensland Statute Reprints 1962-1992: a series of reprinted statutes and regulations referred to as the "White Reprints"; The Public Acts of Queensland 1828-1936: a reprint of Queensland law as at 1 January 1937, authorised by the Attorney-General of Queensland and published by Butterworth & Co.; Queensland Commencement legislation 1793-1867; Queensland Land Legislation 1833-1910; Letters Patent Establishing Boundaries for Queensland; Queensland Criminal Code 1879-1899. The digitization of the materials in this collection was originally commenced under the aegis of Ozcase, a web collaboration project started in 2004 and sponsored by a number of Queensland law libraries, in particular those of the Queensland University of Technology, The Department of Justice and Attorney-General, Bond University, Griffith University and the University of Queensland. Completion of the digitization of the Queensland Statute Reprints has been made possible by the generous financial support of the Australian Law Librarians Association (Queensland). The Crown Law Library (Queensland) and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Library supplied materials from their collections to ensure that the Queensland Statute Reprints are as complete as possible. - QUT website.
