Information about South Australian legislation is recorded in four steps: Whenever proclamations or selected notices are made, information is added to the home pages of related legislation Whenever a piece of principal legislation is changed, detailed information about the change is added to the Legislative History at the end of that document Every two weeks all changes made to any legislative history are added to the Cumulative Fortnightly Update At the end of each calendar year all information in the Cumulative Fortnightly Update is added to the Index of South Australian Legislation ('the Index'). After the information from a Cumulative Fortnightly Update is incorporated into the Index a new Cumulative Fortnightly Update starts being kept.
